What it does
New order in Shopware
Validate and transform
Created in Infor M3
Shopware can run several sales channels with their own languages, currencies and product ranges. We agree what each channel pulls from M3.
Products, variants and price lists are linked to item numbers and prices in M3, so the range can be maintained in one place.
Rejected orders and missing master data are caught along the way and can be resumed once the data is in place.
Ready out of the box
Shopware → M3
Orders from Shopware are transferred to M3 and created as sales orders on the right customer account.
M3 → Shopware
Stock from M3 updates Shopware, so the webshop shows what can be shipped.
M3 → Shopware
Item numbers, variants and master data are synchronised, so the range follows M3. Content can come from a PIM.
M3 → Shopware
Sales prices, tiered prices and prices per customer group are pulled from M3, so B2B customers see their own prices.
Both ways
Customers from Shopware can be created as customer accounts in M3, and existing customer accounts are linked to their account.
M3 → Shopware
Once the order has shipped from M3, Shopware is updated with status, consignment note and tracking.
Shopware is built around sales channels. Each channel can have its own range, language, currency and customer group – and that is exactly where the integration needs to be told what applies.
We agree per channel:
That way you can open a new channel or a new market without rebuilding the integration.
Shopware supports customer groups, tiered prices and company accounts. Those concepts exist in M3 as well, but they do not necessarily cover the same thing. We go through the mapping, so price agreements, payment terms and delivery addresses land correctly from the start.
M3 Cloud Edition and older or on-premise environments can place different demands. Version, access, available APIs and existing customisations need to be known before the technical solution is chosen. We go through that together with you and your M3 partner.
We've got the answers
Yes. Shopware 6 has an API that suits an integration well. If you are still running an older version, we go through the options before recommending a solution.
Yes. B2C orders are typically placed on a web customer per market, while B2B orders are placed on the specific customer account in M3 with its prices and payment terms.
Yes. Each sales channel can have its own range, language and stock. We agree the rules per channel, so they do not overwrite each other.
