Le Klint’s situation
Connectify’s services are a perfect fit for one particular group of companies.
The company that is already well known, has a reasonably healthy IT foundation, and has one foot on the launch pad towards rapid growth.
Companies like that get particularly much out of integrations, because there are often very concrete things that can be addressed, optimised and made a little smarter.
Lots of small streams that together can form a large river. That is why Le Klint – the remarkably elegant lamp manufacturer that mixes classic design with new thinking – was in a good position when they got in touch with Connectify.
What did Le Klint get?
Put simply, Le Klint wanted an easier working day where their IT ran effortlessly and efficiently. Le Klint has a built-in Shopify on their website, and it is connected to an ERP system. In this case NAV.
In slightly more understandable terms, Le Klint has two different IT systems whose roles are to sell the products, update data such as stock levels, and keep track of the entire journey of a lamp from the start of production to the consumer’s living room – above the coffee table, in the reading corner or in the office.
The work involved in updating, comparing and manually managing these two systems is overwhelming. Especially when you reach a size like Le Klint’s. From there, there is only one way to go.
The integration route.
Le Klint now has tailored integrations between their Shopify and NAV solution. That means they can enjoy a far less IT-heavy working day where the systems work together, where human errors are greatly reduced, and where the time they save means money.
Integrations are time, and time is money. On top of that, Le Klint – like all our other customers – gets free setup and free support, so they can start using their new, improved system quickly and easily.
How did we do it?
All our new partnerships and projects start the same way. We build an overview. Without an overview, the scaffolding collapses while you are standing on the ridge of the roof. Not good.
To give everyone a safe, reassuring and efficient process, we always ask clarifying questions that create a clear scope for the task.
For example:
- What are the problems in your current setup?
- How would you like it to be different?
- Which data integrations are need-to-have?
- Which are nice-to-have?
And here is a small tip for that kind of clarifying work. Every time we launch a project like this, we make sure to ask everyone who actually uses the systems every day.
That way we get not only the CEO’s wish for higher revenue, but also the incredibly valuable insight from the people in:
- Sales
- Warehouse and supply in general
- Customer service
- Finance
They are the ones who actually do the work in the systems, so they are the ones you need to talk to.

Developing the solution
Once the preparations are behind us, development can begin. Our highly professional team builds the solution within an agreed timeframe. And if problems come up along the way, you do not have to worry about extra costs.
Both Le Klint and you are in the same boat. Our service is a subscription. No unpleasant surprises, start-up fees or other fine print. A fixed price every month. That way you are covered.
Testing the solution
When the solution is finished, it MUST be tested.
That is simply how it is. However tempting it is to push it live straight away and hope there are no holes to patch, it is important that the solution is tested.
We often find a slip or two – a few words about errors:
- Slips that can cost you dearly if they happen in the real world and not in a test environment.
- That is why we test – so you do not get an unpleasant surprise.
- Going live: once the solution has been developed and tested, the fun begins.
The Le Klint team gets the integrations in their hands and can experience for themselves what a difference it makes to their working day. The integrations are let loose. And to be honest, this is roughly where people really see the value of the work that has been done.
Often the price paid to have the integrations built is a drop in the ocean compared with how much it earns back. There is no mistaking it.
Summary
Integration and ease
Le Klint needed more ease in the connection between their ERP and Shopify.
Connectify stepped in and built tailored integrations between the most important data points. Le Klint now saves a lot of time and money on manual IT work that is tiring and deeply boring anyway.
On top of that, they are now able to serve more customers, since the integrations have freed up even more time.
Le Klint still has free support – of course. Read more about our prices.
