Introduction
Plus Plus is known for their building blocks. A simple design with an ocean of creative possibilities for children and adults alike. Honestly, we could easily spend a couple of hours on a complex building process. That is why Connectify and Plus Plus are a good match. We are builders. We build bridges where there are none. Just like Plus Plus, which opens up possibilities for creation the moment the lid comes off. One of the few things you cannot build with Plus Plus, though, is IT integrations. Unfortunately.
If you could, Plus Plus would not have needed our help, and you would not be reading this case.
The problem
IT is like building blocks
Plus Plus has a product made for endless creativity. The only limit to what you can create is the number of blocks. When you run out of blocks, you have to get some more. You can look at IT in the same way. IT is often built from different blocks, such as programs, systems, integrations and functions. The blocks all have their own shapes and fit together in smart and creative ways. It is just that when you use the integrations that are directly available in Shopify, you are doing yourself a disservice.

Dynamics NAV is still usable
The blocks are a poor foundation for scaling. They fit into your IT system right up until they no longer do. You outgrow them. That is how it is for 80% of all our customers. They outgrow the integrations they have had from the start and are held back by an inflexible IT foundation. The core of Plus Plus’ IT consisted of NAV as ERP and Shopify as e-commerce platform – more about Shopify and Dynamics NAV.
A classic pair that holds unstoppable possibilities once you start tailoring your own solutions.
The solution
The way forward with automation
Plus Plus faced the challenge of managing growing demand. To handle it and keep an overview of their supply chain, they decided to invest in a comprehensive ERP solution. Plus Plus chose to implement tailored integrations between their ERP and Shopify. That move allowed Plus Plus to automate the data transfer between the two platforms.
Think of all the time and money you can save with greater efficiency and accuracy in your:
- Business processes
- Stock management
- Order handling
- Invoicing
- Customer support
It sounds cumbersome and out of reach, but it does not have to be.
Building a new foundation
What does the process look like?
We follow the same rules every time we build new integrations for our partners.
We start by asking detailed questions.
- Which data points need to be integrated?
- Which tasks should the integrations take off your hands?
- Where do the problems in your IT arise?
The answers to these questions teach us more about the problems and give us a hint of the best possible solutions. We do not dive into development, however, before we have talked to all the company’s stakeholders. That is, everyone who actually uses the systems. That is where the gold is if you want to scale your IT.
Development
Once we have talked to everyone, development begins. We have set the course and know where we are heading. Sometimes unforeseen obstacles or changes come up, but do not worry. You do not have to pay extra. At Connectify you pay a fixed monthly fee and therefore avoid unpleasant surprises on the invoice.
Testing and launch
After development itself, there is testing to be done. This is where it gets hard to wait, because your solution is almost finished. We test to make the integrations error-proof. That means you do not waste time and money on fixing errors in the system.
We do it properly the first time, every time.
